How to Create an Email Account in Plesk

Step 1: Log in to Plesk

  1. Open your browser and go to your Plesk login URL, typically:

     
    https://yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Enter your username and password.

Step 2: Go to the Mail Section

  1. In the left sidebar, click on Mail.

  2. You will see a list of domains that support mail.

 


 Step 3: Add a New Email Address

  1. Click the “Create Email Address” button.

  2. Fill in the fields:

    • Email address (e.g., info@yourdomain.com)

    • Password – Create a strong password or use the generator.

    • Optional: Set a mailbox size limit or leave default.

 Step 4: Set Additional Settings (Optional)

  • Redirects: Forward emails to another address.

  • Auto-Reply: Set an out-of-office message.

  • Spam Filter / Antivirus: Enable for better protection.


 Step 5: Save and Done

  • Click OK or Save at the bottom of the form.


 Your email account is now ready!

You can now access your new mailbox via:

Outgoing Server (SMTP) mail.yourdomain.com
Username Your full email address
Password The one you set
IMAP Port 993 (SSL)
POP3 Port 995 (SSL)
SMTP Port 465 or 587 (SSL/TLS)
