Open your browser and go to:
Log in with your Plesk username and password (provided by your hosting provider).
In the left-hand menu, click WordPress
You’ll see a list of your WordPress sites
Find the site you want to back up
Click the arrow (▸) next to your site to expand the options
Click Back Up / Restore
In the Backup screen:
Give your backup a name (optional)
Choose what to include:
Files
Database
Click Start
🕒 Wait a few minutes — Plesk will create a full snapshot of your site.
If you ever need to restore your site:
Go to WordPress Toolkit > Your Site > Back Up / Restore
You’ll see a list of your backups
Click Restore next to the backup you want
Choose what to restore:
Files
Database
Click Restore
Warning: Restoring a backup will overwrite your current site. Make sure you're restoring the correct version.
If you want to automate backups:
Go to Websites & Domains > Backup Manager
Click Schedule
Choose how often:
Daily, Weekly, or Monthly
Set how many backups to keep
Save the schedule
Your site will now back up automatically!
