Visit your hosting or domain registrar’s website and sign in.
Examples:
Namecheap: https://my.namecheap.com
GoDaddy: https://account.godaddy.com
Others (e.g., Hostinger, IONOS, HostGator) – look for "Client Area" or "Login"
Use the same login you used when you first registered the domain.
Once logged in:
Look for “Domains”, “My Domains”, or “Domain List”
You’ll see all the domains you own
Find the domain linked to your Plesk website and click Manage or Details
In the domain settings, you can view:
Expiration Date
Next Billing Date
Status (active, expired, pending renewal)
Auto-Renew Status (on or off)
Domains must be renewed before the expiration date to avoid service interruption.
Most providers allow automatic renewal for domains, which is highly recommended.
Look for the Auto-Renewal toggle or checkbox
Click to enable (or disable, if you plan to let it expire)
Make sure a valid payment method is saved
Auto-renewal helps prevent your domain from expiring accidentally and going offline.
In the domain’s billing section, you can find:
Item | What It Means |
---|---|
Renewal Price | Cost to renew the domain for 1 year |
Transfer Price | If you move the domain to another registrar |
Grace Period Fees | Extra charges if you renew after expiration |
Multi-Year Discount | Some providers offer 2- or 3-year deals |
Prices may change yearly — check your provider’s pricing page for the latest rates.
If auto-renew is off, you can manually renew:
Go to Billing or Renewals
Select the domain you want to renew
Click Renew Now
Choose a billing cycle (1 year, 2 years, etc.)
Complete payment
